Our Mission and Objectives
Founded in 2021 by a group of finance enthusiasts, FinClub JU is the only financial markets oriented club in the university. Our mission is to provide the perfect place to enhance financial knowledge and to promote financial awareness within the student community and beyond.
The driving force for our work is our faith in the ability of every individual to aspire higher, develop their dreams and make it their destiny. Our objectives include creating a strong finance culture which benefits the entire student community and providing a platform for growth, a shared investment in knowledge which is destined to yield huge returns for all.
Our Work and Activities
We are building a community of finance enthusiasts, investors and traders. Our long agenda for the year includes a plethora of activities like workshops, seminars, speaker sessions, mock trading and case study competitions, quizzes and a variety of events to help in developing financial instincts among young minds and to provide an interactive experience to our members. At FinClub JU, we are dedicated to our vision of providing financial knowledge in a comprehensive and organized form so that every member joining our community with a desire to learn about financial markets leaves as a confident individual with a strong knowledge of the financial world.
Membership
Membership of FinClub JU is open to all students currently enrolled in any undergraduate, postgraduate or doctoral programme under Jadavpur University. Membership is free of cost and not subject to any special requirements based on degree, course or score. Members may voluntarily discontinue their membership at any time with or without discontinuing subscription to newsletter or participation in events.
You can apply for membership by submitting the membership form or during the annual recruitment season. Join FinClub today to be part our community.
